We are seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer to join our experienced team in Munich/Germany and play a key role in the design, development, verification, and qualification of feed systems for electric propulsion thrusters. These systems control the mass flow rate of gases such as Krypton or Xenon to the thruster and will play a vital role in upcoming satellite constellations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering within the aerospace domain and experience working on complex fluidic or propulsion subsystems. Experience with industrialization and serial production in the aerospace domain is highly appreciated.
You will interface closely with propulsion engineers, mechanical designers, experts for valves and flow control, our electronics teams, and the AIT department to ensure that the feed system meets mission, performance, and reliability requirements. Furthermore, you will manage the communication towards suppliers and the customer. This role involves full lifecycle responsibility - from requirements engineering through design, analysis, integration, testing, and system-level verification.
