Internship: AI-Driven Compliance & Engineering Automation (m/f/d)

München
Full or part-time
Intern / Student

Your mission

Join our Product Assurance and Quality department in Munich and contribute to the development of an AI-powered compliance analysis system for space applications. You will work at the intersection of aerospace engineering, quality assurance, and modern AI tools, helping to facilitate the analysis of complex technical requirements and internal capabilities. Your tasks include:
  • Build an AI Compliance Engine:
Develop a company database to structurally compile company processes, engineering knowledge and capabilities and improve workflows to automatically analyze customer requirements against this database.
  • Improve Decision Support:
Help build logic to assess compliance, identify gaps, and propose mitigation actions in a structured, controlled and traceable way.
  • Contribute to Automation Strategy:
Explore how AI can support or automate repetitive tasks in Product Assurance, Quality, and engineering workflows.
  • Impact Real Projects:
Support ongoing and future space projects by contributing to the generation of compliance matrices and Product Assurance documentation.

Your profile

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant field (e.g. Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or similar).
  • Strong interest in aerospace systems, quality assurance, and complex engineering environments.
  • Interest in AI tools (LLMs), automation, or data processing. Prior experience is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to understand and structure complex technical information.
  • Basic programming skills (Python or JavaScript) or willingness to learn.
  • Structured, independent, and pragmatic way of working.
  • Interest in improving and automating engineering workflows rather than only executing them.
  • Fluency in English (German is a plus).

About us

We are deltaVision GmbH – a young, ambitious high-tech company based in Munich, driving the future of in-space mobility and infrastructure.

Since our founding in 2022, we have been developing, manufacturing, and qualifying advanced fluid control systems for the aerospace industry and H₂ aviation. Our expertise spans cryogenic and high-pressure propulsion systems as well as next-generation orbital refueling technologies, including couplers and fully integrated refueling systems designed for the harsh environment of space.

With our deep knowledge of fluid control for space systems, we are shaping the space economy towards refuelable and reusable spacecraft. We enable longer mission lifetimes, greater operational flexibility, and entirely new architectures for sustainable space operations.

What sets us apart?
  • Innovative products enabling next-generation space infrastructure
  • Exceptional cost efficiency through optimized design and manufacturing
  • Rapid development and delivery cycles beyond traditional industry standards

We are rethinking spaceflight — enabling a future where spacecraft are not disposable, but reusable, refuelable, and built to operate sustainably in orbit.
